The start to this school year has been unprecedented for teachers and students due to the global COVID-19 pandemic. As a result our traditional reporting processes do not adequately reflect the timelines of the current WRDSB “Quadmestering” system. For this reason, GRCI students will be receiving an update of their current progress from all Quadmester 1 teachers on Friday Oct. 10. Teachers will communicate progress via student email or through their google classroom. Parents and guardians can access this information by speaking to the student(s) with whom they are connected. This progress report is not based on a great deal of assessment information and therefore no numerical mark will be provided at this time. Students who are struggling to meet curricular expectations to this point and are at risk of not receiving a credit in their course will be provided with additional support in order to ensure they are successful.
