Welcome to our Renegades both new and returning. The first day of school, Tuesday September 6th, is a special schedule to help our Grade 9 students become acquainted with their new school. Although our school will open at 8:15 for all students we ask students to read the schedule below to determine when they should attend their classes.
Morning Schedule for Grade 9 Students
9:00 – 9:30 Grade 9 Assembly in the Cafeteria
9:30 – 10:50 Grade 9 Students & Mentor Groups get to know GRCI
10:50 – 11:50 Lunch (BBQ provided to Grade 9 Students)
Afternoon Schedule for ALL Students (Grades 9-12)
11:50 – 12:10 Period A Class
12:15 – 12:40 Period B Class
12:45 – 1:10 Period C Class
1:15 – 1:40 Period D Class
1:45 – 2:20 All students can see teachers, pick up report cards, clear up missing textbooks.
1:45 – 2:20 Grade 9 students will pick up their Chromebook in the cafeteria.
It is critical that ALL students attend this important day.
Please note that buses will operate on regular schedules for the first day.
We will begin our regularly scheduled classes on Wednesday, September 7th (day one schedule).
IMPORTANT CHECKLIST FOR FIRST DAY
- Data Verification Sheet (changes made, if applicable) – signed by parent/guardian
- Notification & Permission Form (IS-09-L-S) signed by a parent/guardian
- Anaphylaxis Alert Form (if applicable) completed and signed by a parent/guardian
- Buff Coloured Chromebook 1:1 Contract (Grade 9) signed by both a parent/guardian and student
