Start Up Packages

New this year for all but incoming Grade 9 students.
There will be no summer mailer.  Students will be able to stop by GRCI starting Monday August 28th until Thursday August 31st from 8 AM until 3:30 PM to pick up their start up packages.  These packages include their Data Verification Form (DVF) and Use of Personal Information Form.  Students who would like an early look at their timetable or who would like to book a course change appointment will need to return both the DVF and the Use of Personal Information forms signed by a guardian.  As in past years, Semester 1 course changes will only be permitted from Monday August 28th to Thursday August 31st.  Report Cards from June are also available for pick up at the same time.

First Day Schedule
To support our Grade 9 students transitioning to Grand River we have a special first day schedule.  Students in Grades 10-12 do not have to arrive until 11:45 AM

Upon arrival students are asked to check the alphabetical lists posted in the main foyer for your homeroom location.

8:15 – 9:00  OPEN TO ALL STUDENTS
MORNING SCHEDULE – GRADE 9 ONLY
9:00 – 9:30 Grade 9 Assembly in the Cafeteria
9:30 – 10:50 Grade 9 Mentor Groups
10:50 – 11:50  LUNCH: A BBQ lunch provided for Grade 9 students

AFTERNOON SCHEDULE FOR GRADES 9, 10, 11 & 12
11:50 – 12:10 PERIOD A CLASS
12:15 – 12:40 PERIOD B CLASS
12:45 – 1:10 PERIOD C CLASS
1:15 – 1:40 PERIOD D CLASS
1:45 – 2:25 Teachers available in classrooms to answer questions and scheduled guidance appointments.

We will resume a Regular Day Schedule on Wednesday, September 9th
