Due to the lack of school bus transportation available, Waterloo County Secondary School Athletic Association (WCSSAA) has made the difficult decision to reschedule games for Thursday, October 7 between 3 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. At this time, our local bus companies do not have enough bus drivers available to support our sports program in addition to supporting our after-school runs.

The following games will be rescheduled for a later date:

Junior Boys Soccer

  • GRCI vs HHSS
  • CHCI vs ECI
  • SJAM vs WCI
  • WODSS vs FHCI

Field Hockey

  • ECI vs WODSS
  • GPSS vs PHS
  • SSS vs JHSS
  • WCI vs SJAM
  • BCI ve EDSS
  • KCI vs CHCI

Senior Boys Football

  • KCI vs JHSS

The following game / championship are proceeding as scheduled. These events are not affected by transportation challenges:

  • WCSSAA Golf Championship
  • Jr Boys Football: WCI vs WODSS

We understand that our student-athletes, staff and families have been looking forward to kicking off the sports season. We will continue to work with our transportation partners to make sure we resolve this transportation capacity issue.
