Dear Parents/Guardians

Education is a partnership involving parents, students, teachers, principals, school boards, government, and the community.

Grand River is currently seeking members for the 2024-2025 School Council. The purpose of a school council is, through the active participation of parents, to improve student achievement and increase accountability of the education system to parents. Through your involvement in the council, you are part of a team working to support a high-quality education system for the children of Grand River. Your participation can make a difference.

There are four scheduled meetings beginning at 7pm in the 2024-2025 school year. School council meetings will take place in the library meeting room across KPL library door.

Jan. 22nd, 2025 – combined with special event night

If you are interested in joining the Grand River School Council please complete this interest form. All individuals who have a student at the school are invited to attend any of the meetings. For more information regarding a particular meeting please contact the school.
