Dear Parents/Guardians,

Education is a partnership involving parents, students, teachers, principals, school boards, government, and the community.

Grand River is currently seeking members for the 2025-2026 School Council and we would love to welcome some new members.  The purpose of a school council is to improve student achievement and increase accountability of the education system to parents. Through your involvement in the council, you are part of a team working to support a high-quality education system for the students at Grand River. Your participation can make a big difference.

There are five scheduled meetings beginning at 7pm in the 2025-2026 school year. School council meetings will take place in the library meeting room across from the KPL library door.

Feb. 18th, 2026

Apr. 22nd, 2026

May 20th, 2026

All individuals who have a student at the school are invited to attend any or all of the meetings.
