Dear Graduating Students,

It is hard to believe that we are nearing the end of the school year! For many of you, it has been just a few short years since you entered grade 9 and received a Chromebook.

Time to return Chromebooks:

Chromebooks and their charging cords are the property of the Waterloo Region District School Board and must be returned upon graduation, or when a student transfers from our Board.

Students leaving GRCI are expected to return their Chromebook and charger on the day of their final exam/class.

Chromebooks may be returned regardless of their condition. Students will not be charged if they return a damaged device. Chromebooks that are not returned will be disabled by WRDSB Information Technology Services and rendered unusable.

This is a reminder to all graduating grade 12 students and any student not returning to the WRDSB next year that your Chromebook and charger need to be returned before the end of June or it will be disabled. If you are taking Summer school courses, then they can be returned in September.

Get a free freezie! Mr. Mayer will be handing out freezies to any students who bring their Chromebooks in to the Cafeteria during our collection on the following dates and times:

June 18 1pm-3 pm (last day of regular classes)

June 19 8:15am to 11am

June 22 8:15am to 11am

June 23 8:15am to 11am

June 24 8:15am to 11am

Feel free to return them early if you like, to Mr. Mayer’s office (2-108). Chromebooks and chargers can also be returned at any other times to the main office.

Please remember that graduating student accounts will expire on June 30th, any files or emails you wish to keep will need to be transferred to another google account using google takeout.
