Welcome to the 2020-21 school year! A special welcome to our Grade 9 students, and a big welcome back to our returning Renegades. We are looking forward to meeting you and connecting with you again soon.
As we approach the start of the school year, we know that you have many questions. Please know that we are working around the clock to ensure your return to school is safe and productive. As you can imagine, many aspects of school will be different this year and we will be communicating those changes to you soon.
This week (August 31 to September 4), we will use the GRCI website and School Day to share detailed information on the following important topics. Please make sure you are signed up for notifications from our GRCI homepage and School Day (login from GRCI homepage).
- COVID-19 safety protocols (self-screening, masks, physical distancing, hand hygiene, etc)
- Arriving at school (assigned entrances, late arrival, etc)
- Directional movement in the school
- Personal Belongings and Lockers
- Lunch
- Quadmester Format & Daily Schedule
- Washroom Breaks
All students who have opted for the adaptive/hybrid model of learning (except students in our ACE or congregated classes) will be placed in one of two “cohorts”. We will send out that information through School Day once available.
