COURSE DESCRIPTION This course enables students to further develop their knowledge and skills in visual arts.Students will use the creative process to explore a wide range of themes through studio work that may include drawing, painting, sculpting, and printmaking, as well as design and works using emerging technologies. Students will use the critical analysis process when evaluating their own work and the work of others.

Essential Expectations, Learning and Skills To be successful in this course you must be able to demonstrate all of the essential expectations as communicated by your teacher. These will be clearly communicated to you throughout the course. 

EVALUATION Term 70%, Summative 30%

A variety of themes and mediums will be explored.

Each Unit will cycle through Art History, Skill and or Content Development, Art Proposals, Proposal Critiques, Artwork Creation, Art Label Writing.
